It’s easy to be romantic in the beginning stages of your relationship. But once the honeymoon phase is over and things get more comfortable, it’s also easy to let it fade out.

After a while, a relationship often starts feeling mundane, and maybe passionless.

The good news, I promise, it doesn’t have to happen this way!

It’s really not even that hard to show your man a little romance and to let him know you love him.

There are tons of easy and simple things that keep the romance alive relationships.

Here are a few of my favorites:

1. Grab his Hand

This is such a simple way to show your man that you care and that you’re still interested in him.

Just reach over and grab his hand while you’re watching TV or walking down the street.

It’s a small gesture, but it will definitely make him feel loved.

It’s so simple that a lot of people forget to do it after a while. It’s an instant way to add a little romance to your day to day lives.

2. Give Little Compliments

Men love compliments just as much as women do!

So go ahead and tell your man how good he looks in that shirt.

It can also spark the lovin’ mode when done well.

Of course, what you say matters just as much as the way you say it.

For example, telling them “I just love how you washed the dishes last night.” Isn’t going to have as much as an effect as saying “I just love how your chest looks in that shirt.”

3. Shop together

I know, I know. But hear me out.

Shopping together can indeed be romantic and fun. It all just depends on what you’re shopping for.

Shopping for a new ladder isn’t romantic. However, you can have fun “shopping” for a new perfume and enjoying the smells and senses of it all.

Or even shopping for new jewelry and having him help you try it on can turn up the heat.

4. Go on a Mini Road Trip

Whether it’s to the next city over or a couple of hours away, getting out of your normal routine can be just what you need to feel that spark again.

There’s something romantic and freeing and about exploring new areas together.

So pick a place a couple hours away and enjoy the drive and the destination.

5. Have a Date Night

A date night is a great way to reconnect with your partner and remind them how much you love them.

It can be as simple as going out to eat or seeing a movie, or something more elaborate like taking a mini road trip. No matter what you do, make sure it’s something that both of you will enjoy.

So grab some movie tickets, grab his hand and snuggle up.

6. Send Flowers

Sending flowers is a total cliché. But for a good reason!

They are completely impractical, but that’s sorta what makes them so romantic.

What type of flowers does your partner like?

They even have fun “man-ques” made from beef jerky and roasted nuts.

Of course, I believe lots of men would love to receive flowers too.

It’s an easy and simple gesture to show your man some love.

7. Shut Off Your Phones

In today’s day and age, we are so connected to our technology that it can be hard to disconnect.

But one of the easiest ways to show your man some love is to shut off your phone and give him your undivided attention.

Have a conversation, go for a walk, or just cuddle. Whatever you do, make sure you’re present in the moment and not letting anything else interfere.

Your social media app and meaningless text messages will still be there in an hour.

Even having your phone in your hand sends subtle signals that you’re not giving someone 100% of your attention.

So turn it off and put it up and get to talking.

I know, in the last one I just told you to turn you phone off.
